Strategic realignment for the future with the appointment of Michael Koziol, WEBER Group is sending a clear signal for the future: the family-owned company, founded in Dillenburg in 1949 and today present at five locations in Germany, Poland, and China with around 1,300 employees, is undergoing a targeted transformation from an automotive supplier to a diversified technology company. The focus is on developing new markets — from household technology and commercial vehicles to innovation services. At the same time, operational performance is to be improved. Michael Koziol will play a leading role in shaping this transformation.

Responsibilities of the New COO Michael Koziol has many years of experience in the automotive environment — on both the OEM and supplier sides. His professional focus lies in project management and operational excellence, areas in which he has also gained experience in other industries, such as BMW Motorrad. As Chief Operating Officer, he takes on responsibility for the operational core of the group, with overall responsibility for the five production plants, product development, and project management. At a higher level, he drives the sustainable improvement and efficiency enhancement across the entire value chain.

Michael Koziol looks forward to creative solutions and bold steps under his leadership: "WEBER Group combines an innovative spirit with industrial strength and fast decision-making — that is exactly the right foundation for building something lasting together. My focus will be on interlinking our development with production, strengthening operational excellence across all areas, and establishing global collaboration — 'think global, act local.'"
